It seems like only yesterday we watched a nude Kate Winslet don the stunning Heart of the Ocean necklace for Leonardo DiCaprio as he memorably sketched her in Titanic. Memories, memories.
Even though the epic romantic blockbuster was filmed 17 (gasp!) years ago, this particular scene, as well as photographs of Winslet mid-pose, still "haunts" the British actress.
"I don't sign that [picture]," the 38-year-old revealed to Yahoo!. "It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that? People ask me to sign that [picture] a lot."
The mother of three continued: "There's a photo of it as well that someone has lifted from a still of the film, and that photo gets passed around too. I'm like 'No! I didn't mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing still 17 years later.'"
Case in point: the Oscar winner was presented with a realistic sketch of her character Rose at a recent premiere for Divergent. It's unclear if the person wanted Winslet to sign the realistic drawing or if it was a gift.
"It's still haunting me," she admitted. "It's quite funny really."
Well, we are talking about one of the biggest movies in history.
Present-day Kate can be seen opposite Shailene Woodley and Theo James as the cold Erudite faction leader Jeanine Matthews in the action flick Divergent.
